CloneCD not working right on newer games?

I hope someone can help me out here befvore I make any more coasters for myself. I've been using CloneCD for quite a while now and have been quite happy with it. Every game I've burned with it comes out perfect, no problems! Plays like the real thing, till "American Mcgees Alice", then "Sims House Party" and "Hot Date", thats 3 coasters! It does it's usual burn routine, and the install off the disc goes just fine but when I try to play it just hangs at the load screens. If I stop the game loading and stick in the real CD it works fine, so it must be missing something that shows the program the disc is in there? Right? Right? Anyone?
