When I read the instructions at first, my first thought was wtf do I need to copy cd2 to the hardisk just to play it without the cd even with a full install. Anyway all you need to do is.

Install the game with full install.
Use one of the fixed exe´s, corresponding to your version, or unwrap it yourself.
Open up regedit, search for ´Stormfront Studios´click on ´Pools of Radiance2´.
Edit the line that reads ´InstallSource´ so it reads the same as your ´InstallDir´.
Now create a file called ´data2.tag´and save it in your InstallDir, it doesnt have to contain anything. Thats all the game seems to look after.
Thats it.

I Didn´t bother to make a no_cd_exe patch for that. Since it would probably have to be updated again, when the patch finally comes out.
