booting dvd-rips

hey all.

i am no stranger to cd backups, never coasted one yet

but i am thinking of ripping dvd's and was interested in how people boot them.

i have:
pal ps2 v3/4, neo2, ar1.3

and:

pal ps2 v5, neo2.2, ar2.01

any help is appreciated.
