Program is nonviral. It uses a lot of masking techniques that malware typically uses that set alarms off in most AV software. See below for further details:

Additionally I was able to launch the program successfully without having to disable any security software (firewall active, AV real time scanner active, DEP protection on for all programs). As to whether the trainer works I cannot tell you (as I do not own the game). Your AV and firewall software may not be configured properly to notify user on detection instead of take action without user intervention.
