Worms Mayhem - any chancte to get it to work under vista?

hi - just found my worms mayhem dvd and installed it under vista - the game wont start under vista. no matter if the dvd is used or a crack (latest update and rld crack).

anyone got it to work under vista?

edit: seems to be not vista releated - the game doesn't work on laptops - that's the problem -.-
