You can play >>WITHOUT<< unplugging drives or using any tools except daemon tools 4 to mount the image, if you are one of the lucky people that own a Nforce 3 motherboard with the Nforce IDE drivers installed.
For some reason it locks the drives of from star forces evil eye. I play X3 from the image with all drives plugged in and no other tools but Daemon tools 4.
