Daemon tools question?

I've read the doc.

for what I do... just right click on the icon while it's in the thingie Right down of the corner, it's on the tip of my tongue.. can't get it out..

just right click there then going with the mouse to virtual cd/dvd rom then Device then set device parameters. after that you get a screen where you can choose a drive letter, but none is accepted.. there is the daemon tools loading thingie sometimes it goes for a few seconds sometimes barely noticable but no drive letter is accepted and I can't figure out why

any help would be greatly appreciated

and for the installation part, I've downloaded installed uninstalled on so many times and got Daemon tools from different sources.. but to no avail.

----- Bus Number 0, Target ID 0, LUN 0 ---- this is listed when I go to device properties for the virtual drive, I'm not sure if this is good/bad ?
