i have a similar problem
 my DVD writer wont write *.iso files anymore since i uninstalled antiblaxx. i tried pretty much everything to solve that problem. i have updated the firmware, reinstalled my DVD drivers and tried the windows systemrestoring-thing (dont know english name since im from germany ^^). i also tried to reinstall alcohol. if i do a write simulation it works without any problems, but when i try to write it doesnt even start writing. i hope you understand what im trying to say. my english is not the best what can i do know?
