DMS3 in v9 problems - Help please

Well dang it. My pink ps2 is giving problems. I tried to install reality media player and everything went to heck after that. It didn't work. Now my ps2 deck acts like no chip is installed. I have tried pressing reset 4x and it doesn't seem to want to reset the chip. I also tried holding in eject thinking it was in sleep mode and pressing eject 3x. I don't think the chip is damaged. I think I'm just not doing something right in pressing buttons. Also the chip is dms3 NOT dms3+ or anything like that. Any help would be gladly appreciated.
