How did Steam know you had patched it? You should not have been online to play in Offline mode! I have never gone online to play once I installed Hijacks crack! I swapped back to the original files to update on the net, then installed hijacks fix again to play in Offline mode.

When I read that post, from the person after the DVD crack, I nearly wrote exactly what you did.
