plaing enulations and roms

OK I con get the emulators to work but when it askes me for the roms, I've downloaded and burned with nero, I replace the emulation disk with the rom disk and nothing hapens I push A, START, or what ever it askes for and it just blinks at me am I doin something wrong, the way I'm burning it? I dont know, Ineed alittle help you guys please I have prety much every emulator but I just cant get the roms to work.
