Need help making copies of self boot games

I have no problem copying non self boot games but for some reason i can't copy self boot games. I have tries making images and cd to cd but niether route has prevailed. I also have tries to use nero, disc juggler, and ez cd creater. I am going to try Clonecd and see if it works. So any advice is muchly appreciated or just point me in the right direction. Thanks
