Patches are used mostly by people who use out of date or crap modchips (Neo2, no-solders, swapmagic disc ect) Or people who rip games instead of make direct backups.You already have a good dvd burner, Buy a messiah2 or MagicV chip and you should be set. Dont waste your money on the above mentioned crap. You should also read the ultimate info sticky, You can learn alot from it.
