I want some clarity about dnas....

What happens if i go online with Socom 2 (us original) with my messiah 2 chipped us ps2 without turning the chip off.

A friend of mine said that the dnas wont check your system for mods, only for copied games. Hes got an pal chipped (also messiah 2)ps2 and pal socom and it works for him he says.... Is there any difference in the euro and us dnas system??!!

I heard something about the possibility that sony will block the mac address of the network adapter (is this true?!) so Im not sure to test socom 2 online with my chip on. As you may know from my other post, Im having troubles getting my chip into stealth mode (it only works when i keep the reset button held during gaming).
