u might want to check out www.ps2ownz.net theres alot of reviews on it there and the swap dics cant hurt a ps2 its just if u use a slide card with the disc it could tear up a system or flip tops i used it for a few days it worked fine and i dont belive it will kill ur ps2 unless u leave the lid open all the time lol and with no solder chips with swap disc i never seen a problem with them unless u get a bad chip which is unlikely and it would kill a ps2 right off i had this happen b4 but that was like 1 chip out of 50 lol but what ever rout u go the slide card will be most likely to kill a ps2 unit right off but which ever way u go u will need one of the 3 to boot the games with swap disk

A. a slide card = crap
B. a flip top lid = decent lids can break ez though
C. a no solder mod = best of the 3 works pretty good in my eyes the best u can get for a mod besides a solder chip there the best
