Apple Pro Vs. M2

Hey, I just received aPM from this guy so I am giving it some thought.

I was interested in putting an M2 in my PS2 and Spedmetal sent me a PM saying that the Apple Pro is just as reliable in the V7 PS2's as the M2 is.

So what I want to know is is this true?
And, has anyone had anything installed by him and have anything to say about his work?

Spedmetal, I am not really questioning your work or your character, i just want to know the DL on the difference between the 2 chips.
