nero won't finalize disc....help pls

I've been using nero to backup my ps2 dvd games and most have worked but when I tried to copy Haven it wouldn't finalize the disc. The game still loads up but only gets so far then messes up.
Any ideas as this has happened before with dvd movies as well????
