Faster "bad sector read" drive:

i am looking at one of the 2 burners,
LiteOn 48x24x48
LiteOn 52x24x52

Does anyone know which one can read bad sectors faster, if there is a difference?
or, with a safedisc 2.5 / safedisc 2.51 protection, are the bad sectors meant to be read slow??
