PS2 keeps blowing fuses!!! HELP!!

ok, one day i picked up the ps2(it was on standby mode), then i put it back down, and i heard a click noise. i noticed that the 3.15A 125V power supply fuse had blown. so im thinking, i need to get another fuse and this will be fine. so i got another ps2 fuse of the same value(same exact fuse that was in it) and it still blew. is my power supply somehow bad? what could of happened. I have it modded with a magic 3. ive had it modded for about 5 months before this with no problem with the chip. anyone, help!
