BACKING UP ON THE MACINTISH?

is there anybody out there that knows how to make "backups" of dreamcast games using a cd burner in a macintosh invironment? also how is it possible to burn the bootcd to cd-r using a macintosh computer? i feel lost here in a pc world, somebody please help me
