I have seen some pictures of Xenosaga on a pressed dvd-9 backup..... How true it is I can't tell you....I have never had one in my hand to try....
Some mod chips do have trouble booting dvd-9..... The Magic 2 V7 (red) only boots dvd-9 1 out of 10 times.... (Although it boots 100% behind AR2 or Gameshark.) I was thinking that the Magic 3 had problems with dvd-9 and that the Magic 3.1 is supposed to have this problem fixed...(i'm not 100% sure about this but I remember reading something about it) I'll check around and see if I can find anymore info on it...
