messiah 2 or magic 3?????

hiya all.
just recently bought a ps2 V5 i think, and have been trying to find
out which mod chip is best. i have heard alot of v good reports about the messiah but thought the magic 3 would be better as its a newer version and easy to operate once installed (properly ). what is the opinion of all you guys in the know? what are the pro's and con's of both.
