svcd not playable on stand alone

i'm getting rather unpatient

i rip n convert using dvd2svcd following the guide on doom9 I burn the images created by dvd2svcd with fireburner and insert them in my stand alone dvd, wich support svcd n vcd n other formats...
It does not work iv'e burnt about 10 discs not knowing a shit of what i'm doing... the rage is taking over... indeed
To get to the point, when i insert the svcd disc in the stand alone it says CDDA n that's wrong. It works perfect on my computer though, but that's definately not enough!

What shall I do?
