cdrwin and winxp incompatable?

Is cdrwin incompatable with windows xp?

I am able to start the program but I get the error message:
"Error: Unable to initalize the ASPI manager ASPI manager not found on the system."

The program is then unable to locate my cd recorder.

Are there any updates or aditional files I need for cdrwin to work on windows xp.

I would greatly appreciate any help... thanks.
