what burner are you using?
what software are you using?

have a look at www.psxcopyworld.co.uk for information/tutorials/software downloads.

Use CloneCD (if your burner is compatible www.elby.de to check) or CDRWIN.

Have a go, then if your still stuck post back again.

Good luck!

Then its your CloneCD settings that are causing you the problems.

Use these settings

hi m8ty
just a quick question?
Do you use you lite-on to read and write with?
If not what are you using as you reader, because most dvd readers that are in the latest systems do not read sub-channel which is needed to back-up psx and audio cds(cause they have sub-channel data(psx) and sub channel audio on the tracks that has to be read to copy properly.(the only one's i know of are toshiba and lite-on)
Also the lite-on does not write any slower that 8x no matter what speed you set it at (i know cos i got one) so try turning your psx upside down (the laser may be getting weak) when you try playing the game.
Hope some of this helps
Post back if i can help you anymore.

Yes i use my lite-on to read and to write ....you say my drive will only write at the lowest of 8x even if i tell it to write at 1x mmmmm this is strange i`m not doubting you i`m a real novice.
Well i did what psx_paul told me to do to the letter and it worked a treat i got a perfect 1 to 1 copy and i`m well chuffed .

Ok ourkid here is one for you backed up London racer 2 plays fine on the station down stairs but the one in my sons room well it just wont respond , loads as the one downstairs but will not respond to the controler i`ve swapped them around still nothing but the power rangers game works fine ??? got me going i can tell you

thanks

barny
