Help with MvC2/CvS2?

hey guys, I'm sort of new to this, so any help would be awesome!

So, I have MvC2, but the music dosen't match the game at all! It has a jazzy soundtrack, where as it's such a fast paced game, it really should have a soundtrack with some Drum and Bass!
A friend of mine has one, where he put all his own music to the game! I want to do that! so,

1. What programs will I need in order to do this, I mean, everything, from ripping the original disc, (which should I use, my american, or japanese MvC2?) which files to take out, what not?

2. I think it's possible to do the same with CvS2, and that would be great if I could!

there's plenty of games in which I'd love to change the music, but these are the MOST painfull!

rock.

p.s. I can't wait for Ikaruga! that game's gonna be TOO GOOD!

I don't remember how musics work on this game, but, if they're CDDA, this is what you could do :

_ use DiscJuggler to make an image of your CD
_ use CDMage to extract CDDA to a directory, or CDIRip + CDMage, or IsoBuster (they all extract files from an image, and you need them to get CDDA on the 1st session). Here you can check if musics were CDDA : if you get some wav files in the 1st session
_ use Windows explorer to copy data to another directory (or extract them from your image...)
_ replace CDDA by your own Wav files (keep the same number of files !)
_ use echelon's tutorial to make your CD

Goto the forums in GAMECOMBOS.COM, in the Capcom section theres a sticky thread that has links to how to change the music as well as other things.
