Unfamiliar error message with ALL Morrowind NOCD patches

Without any patch, I just get the message asking me to use my game disc.

Any time I try to use a patch, however, I get a message error with a big red 'X' that says "Render Creation Error: "Unknown frame buffer mode."

Please help, this crack is no-working-patch thing is driving me nuts.

I know I could just insert the cd, but it's the principality of the thing.
