No solder mod for V4 any good???
I am looking for the simplest hassle free way to play backups on a ps2. I have not purchased a ps2 as of yet so I can get whichever version I can find. The V4 using the no solder mod chip
at http://www.consolesource.com/playsta...p2-ns4-mod.htm appears to be the simplest, but how reliable is it??? Thanks for any input!

As long as you have a dvd-r burner for the dvd games it works great. It does not work well with dvd rips.
