does hide cdr media really work?
i've been testing to see what help, if any, hide cdr media actually is, after reading that its not doing too much good over @ www.cdfreaks.com's forums. to test it, i used a civ3 copy that i know runs fine in a non-writer. i put it into the burner, and it wouldnt run. as expected, since its 2.40 i believe. part 2, i enable hide cdr media, and put the same cd into the burner, so it can re-acquire the info. once again, it does not work. this puzzled the hell out of me, so i put it into my other non-burner (liteon dvd), and it played, hide cdr media enabled or not.
so what im saying, is, that i dont think hide cdr media really does anything. flame me if you want, but i dont have anything besides civv3 to check with at the moment. also, im using 3.3.4.1, tray version 3.3, if you want to check my results, burner = philips pcrw 2010 i believe.

I personnally have had no problems with it and use it a lot. I'm sure if there are any problems Olli will sort them out.
