Cool prob. backing up Diablo 2 ?? Help ??

"Having prob. backing up Diablo 2".
I've copied all 3 cds using Clone Cd fine. They install perfectly and even play the intro.... But when I select a character and give him a name. Try to continue. I get a black screen as if its loading and "WHAM!" the game FREEZES... Every single time.

I heard Diablo 2 is suppose to be heavily copy protected.
Is their a better way to copy???
Can anybody help me out???

When using Clonecd, try with this:

Read:

Read subchannel data from data tracks n
Read subchannel data from audio tracks: on

Write:

Don't repair subchannel data....

This *should* make a working copy. Diablo 2 is protected with securom.

If you want more info then search the forums since there are lots of threads about this "problem"

Angry Reason for CloneCD trial ver.

I payed for CloneCD (while ago). When I ran the update CloneCD said that my " key is invalid"
So I downloaded the CloneCD trial ver. ( of course... the trial ver. ran out.)
My CloneCD key should still be valid.
CloneCD log not letting input my Valid cd key because of trial ver. error.
Is there an Identical program based of of clonecd avail.
Or can somebody just show me how to Prep. my Nero Burning Software to back up copy of Freedom Force protected by
SafeDisk 2.51.x?

Can anybody provide any GOOD info.?

Contact www.elby.ch support about your problem as Olli has been very generous with the updates as you're only meant to get a year of updates but he has never decided to expire that. So you have a lifetime of updates - until he decides to call in the favour.

So contact tech support IF of course your serial is legal.
