How can I rip a dvd game??

Hello everyone..
If its possible just tell me how difficult is it to rip a dvd on a 700mb
cd. What software do I need and what hardware do you suggest, and where can i find it from. Does it worth doing it ? Is it a waste of time, trouble, bs? Thanx!!

it is very difficult and time consuming. trying to squeeze a 4.7 GB dvd onto a 700 MB cdr, u'll have to take out movies etc. its not worth it, get yourself a dvd burner.

dvdr rips ruin your laser within time.
Even though you can take the movies off the discs the ps2 still looks for them once. this is what fucks lasers up.

On gta3 for example, when put on a 800 meg disc the files are completely out of order because of the rip.
Throughout the whole game the laser is constantly searching the disc to load the data(which is in a small place), thus making the drive unit work painfully harder than usual.
I would go into more detail but am smashed after a good night out.
It's best to just stick to dvdr backups,
Charlie should bk me up on this 1. Your views m8?
