I d/l the game. I know it's an import. The whole game is in Japanese. Is there a way to fix it or am I stuck with it like that. Let me know. Thanks

In most imports, if it's in Japanese, that's what you're going to get. Someone else may know if there's a switch (probably in Japanese too) that allows you to select English, but I doubt it. Usually such an option screen would be multi-lingual in nature if it exists.

There's no patch to change the language in this game. Anyway, I found very few selectors in japanese games. You can change it mostly in english / europeans games...

Fire Pro does allow you to rename the wrestlers, federations, etc. in English -- it's one of the menu options. It'll take you at least an hour, but it's worth it. Alternatively, you can probably download an already-renamed save-game off of many sites that specialize in DC saves.

You can't convert the menus or the move names to English, but once you've got a couple of FAQs (one for menu translations, one for wrestler editing -- check out GameFAQs, they've got plenty), you'll be fine. The actual gameplay itself requires no Japanese knowledge, apart from figuring out via FAQ which menu options correspond to your desired match, and it's the best wrestling series on the planet.

Keep in mind that a fully-loaded Fire Pro will require at least
two full memory cards -- three if you create everything you can. They split the savefiles up into a dozen or more chunks, at least, so you can skip some of them (for instance, if you don't want to create five of your own custom federations). You can also download new moves off of the Internet, for reference; I believe there are forty or fifty of them out there.
