Do I need to apply patches for these 2 games in order to back them up? They are Colin McRae Rally 2.0 Platinum and Knockout Kings 2001.

are u trying to convert them from pal/ntsc or vice versa?

The games are UK games so I take it they are PAL.

Thanks for that. Which is the best to use CloneCD or CDR Win? On some of the tutorials I've looked at some say read with RAW and some say without. Whats your opinion?

you use cdrwin for patching and clonecd makes a 1:1 copy of the original you are trying to back up. when using cdrwin to back up psx games always check raw mode when reading.
