Problems installing Moh:aa v1.11 patch
when trying to upgrade, a displayed message appears saying that its not a uk or usa medal of honour. I got back up copies with a crack already on disk.
Also I can't play on internet servers, and on Gamespy I am getting server connection timed out. I hope someone can help, its doing my head in

Basically the patch is probably checking the verision of MOH on your hard drive. I believe it does this by checking the Exe file. What u need to do is replace the cracked exe that u say u are using with the original uncracked/unfixed exe that comes with the retail game. Basically u just be uncracking the game. This should let u update your game. After doing this u will need to download a crack for the patch u installed.

I dont think the update checks the .exe because it worked fine with me. I had it cracked also. I have the US version. Try downloading the Registry Fix from GCW.

I have put the origanal back, patched to version 1.11, then replaced it with the crack, I have internet servers back now, but the pings are really high, and if i join a game the servers are slow.
I get a lot of servers connection has timed out. Any suggestions
|

Emptyeightys right, thats more to do with your internet connection then any cracks installed. One way of improving your ping on Dial Up Connection is to connect to servers that are more closer or 'local' to you. For example I'm in the UK and mainly play on Barrysworld, Gamesdomain and Blueyonder, all UK GSPs. Medal Of Honor is murder on a 56K. Just tough it out, like I do, or get a better connection.
