In Cold Blood - Patch Needed

I recently got my hands on a copy of IN COLD BLOOD (NTSC) and it has mod chip detection

Console Gaming World has a ntsc/pal selecter and protection fix only for the PAL version

.

does anyone know of a protection fix for the NTSC version?
