messiah with v3?

what is the deal with messiahs and v3 , i was told by some one that chips ps2 that it cant be done and then i read that some people on this forum have done it . can it be done ? at the moment i have neo 2 is this the best for v3?

It isnt compatable with a v3.

bullshit.
it works fine in the PAL V3.
the problem is tha laser. V3 is the oldest PAL model, and if a neo 2.2 had been installed before, the laser is usually weakened. it still works, but you might have problems reading dvd-r. that has nothing to do with the chip or PS2, only the laser.

that`s right with a neo chip they have to reduse the laser to 600 ohm. This will fuck up the laser. The version 3 ps2 consoles can be chipped with a messiah but it is very i say very difficult.

Bullshit??,it may work with PAL not NTSC, It's also compatable with a PALv5 and not a USv5.
