Anybody knows why when I play the back up of "pro evolution soccer" on my PS2 console, it gets stuck-frozen at half time ?
Did I do something wrong when I burned it ? What and where is the problem ??? ThanXX, Papero

hei Shumi,
Thanks for your reply, my game is a burned copy of a CD rom ! I burned it from the original with a patch to have it play correctly in the US despite the fact that it is a PAL version. Lemme know, ThanXX, Papero

most likely a bad burn then. try burning it again on another blank brand, and reduce the burning speed.

ar has a good point there, but why can`t you play pal games. i have a pal ps2 and i can play ntsc games. i need a special video cable for it but i can. If you can play pal games try to make a copy with clonecd.

cause NTSC TVs can't display PAL and don't have a RGB connector. PAL TVs have RGB connectors and can use that instead of the NTSC signal to get a pic.

Ar e Schumy, thank you very much for your suggestions, I re-burned the game with Clone CD and now it works well. THe only thing is that a slight part of the screen is cut out at the bottom by the TV screen, I wonder why ?!?!
Ar, do you think that the newer NTSC TVs have the capability to play PAL immages correctly without a patch ? My tv, a sony, gets the signal from the PS2 through 3 cables, one red, one yellow and one white?

that's a basic AV cable. NTSC TVs usually don't display PAL. a NTSC patch should fix the shifted picture.
