Thanks for the quick dispatch of my messiah /clone It came on the Friday morning and I fitted it sunday .

It works perfectly I'm well pleased (no more boot disc)

Thanks Cogknifey - I'm pleased to have been of service. It's been a hectic couple of weeks getting this stuff out of the door and it doesn't stop coming.

Also got mine quickly, professional installer is still installing mine, been 2 days now... surely it doesn't take that long to install the damned thing... I'm assuming he's busy with chipping other people's machines first...

I hope he's not trying to keep my messiah and try and put a Neo 2.2 in there instead... surely not! lol.

Anyway, hope to get it back tomorrow as I'm anxious to try it out.

really dunno how its gonna get installed though no one will do it....

I tried to open up my ps2 today to find out for sure what version it was and i couldn't even get the last screw out

I don't know if your installer is "my mate round the corner". But he has thinking of not accepting any more v3s. The laser is the problem. You put it in right (it boots import originals) but as soon as backups are booted it won't work. This entails massive re-calibration and re-alignment work and even one laser has had to be replaced. Customers won't like that and may lead to dispute.

Crispy You better beleive it, the Messiahs 23 wires is no mean thing .
thats 46 soldering joints some of them are smaller than 2mm square.

it will be well worth the wait when it finished.

let me in on a trade secret, how do you change the bit at the bottom that says Messiah/clone to Red.

Yeah - I got Messiah stock - one of the few that has!

For the red thing you do this (ignore the first space behind the square bracket otherwise it'll come out red)
