LOW burning problems!

I just had my ps2 moded and burned off Legends of Wrestling for ps2 with cdrwin,followed all the faq and followed the boot faq and still nothing,but the game i got with the mod job works!!!

1)i used a memorex cd-r(1x to 24 speeds) disc,700mb ,80mins
1a)my burner is an HP cdwriter plus (8100 series)
that i have burned countless dreamcast games with!

2) got the bin and cue from direct connect

3) did not patch the game as i thought i didnt need to

4) cdrwin to burn(but my system wouldnt let me burn in "raw" mode for some weird reason!)

5)gameshark 2 2.2 brand new

6)other game works(smackdown 3) so i knows its my burn

7)i tried to look around for a good faq and found one but as we all can see for me it didnt work

8)also i used the second part of the cdrwin faq expalining how to copy a backup

any tips to help here would be really cool dudes!!!!

Q:can i convert the bin. file using bin2boot and make it a dj image file like you can with dreamcast games?

dj works for me! I would like to see if that would work.

I have asked this in the past but not many peeps can tell me if it works

Q: do i have to use special discs for the burning process?

i have only really burned dreamcast games and am very new to this
and just about any disc worked for the dc burns

i have burned 6 coasters now!!! 6 coaster to many!!!!!!

Legends Of Wrestling Doesn't need patching I made a copy using Nero Last Night.

What version of CDRWin are U using?

I seem to always have problems burning with CDRwin.

Try Downloading the latest version of it it may be that your writer is not fully supported by it.

Next check all your CDRwin settings with the settings in the guide my experience with this program is if one setting is wrong it coasters. There are bin to iso tools about

If you can get hold of an original copy it is easier to burn PS2 games in Nero using the guide on www.psxcopyworld.co.uk

my guess is it has protection in subchannel
i check clonecd compat hp8100 reads raw96 but will only write sao
could well b your problem
try another game
not many have protection

Thnaks simon...i get all my bins for direct connect...plus i jusr started..but i didnt know you could burn strait from a original!!!

thats kinda cool..dreamcast games you couldnt do that!
