How do i use the No CD Cracks for NBA Live 2001 ... am going nuts..plz help..!!

i downloaded alll the no cd/ cracked -exe files for NBA Live 2001 at GameFix.com....i've tried replacing the original exe...i tried running the cracks, nothing works..i even backed up the CD using fakecd.exe, replaced the original exe with the cracked one from the site...and saw the game reach the intro video b4 crashing on me...what am i doing wrong?!!!...and apart from those cracks are there any others available for NBA Live 2001...i spent the better part of 2 hours going thru the last 73 pages of posts in the previous 100days and found that NBA Live 2001 is definitely not discussed much....and thats puttin it mildly... am goin outta my mind... plz help...

give me some details on ur pc whats in it and how u copied the game and is it from the origional cd once i have this info ill help oh and any other info u think i might need like have u ever copied before
