want to rip DVD's!

i got several progs to rip DVD's. i got them from www.dvdcopyworld.com! but wich prog is the best!? i used "DVDcopy" and now i have a VOB-File! how can i transfer it to a mpg/avi file, using DivX!?
PLZ HELP!!!

Well...it's not that simple, but nothing really impossible!
You'll need some progs and some Divx codecs to get the final .avi
compressed file. You should visit www.divx-digest.com and read some
articles in it. There you will find all the needed software.

For copy all the dvd on your hard drive use CladDVD (you can remove macrovision, multiangle and region code)
For Mpeg to divx use FlaskMpeg with sound encoded in wave format and image in divx low motion
At lat, use virtualdob for encoding sound in mp3 format.

I use it and never have problems with it.
