How to do DVD copies on a cdr

Hello Folks, How can I copy a DVD ROM game on to a cd-R. Ihave a DVD ROM drive and also a cd-r drive for example I need to back up my copy of TONY HAWK 3. Can Anybody lead me into the right direction. Also want to ask what is ntsb pal and those abrevaitions? Johan

you need to extract dvd contents to c:\
using isobuster is the best way then if using a ripkit unpack kit into same folder and run .bat`s in specified order
to create iso then burn with cdrwin cdromxa mode 2 write post gap and finalize disk

ntsc is us format pal is european
