Hi all... Im new to the PS2 Backup scene so please bare with me. I keep reading on the post how everyone has the DVRA03 and the Yamaha2200. Do i HAVE to have these drives to get this working?...I have a HP 9300i plus...and ive been burning Dreamcast backups(ISO) with it. My friend has a PS2 and i told him i would learn how to do this.If i can do this some what easily, ill buy me a PS2!!!

If you want to back up ps2 dvdrs you will need the ao3 with primo
don't no about the other drive ps2 cdrs should be okay with your burner and clone

Your burner is compatable with clone cd so you shouldn't have any problems backing up games that are on compact disc. you can purchase clone cd at www.elby.de. The A-03 is the best solution for dvd backup, it is possible to rip the games to cdr but it is a long time consuming process that more often than not will have you pulling your hair out. If you need more info on ripping games use the search engine, type in dvd rip...Good luck, Hope this helped.
