CloneCD not working right on newer games?
I hope someone can help me out here befvore I make any more coasters for myself. I've been using CloneCD for quite a while now and have been quite happy with it. Every game I've burned with it comes out perfect, no problems! Plays like the real thing, till "American Mcgees Alice", then "Sims House Party" and "Hot Date", thats 3 coasters! It does it's usual burn routine, and the install off the disc goes just fine but when I try to play it just hangs at the load screens. If I stop the game loading and stick in the real CD it works fine, so it must be missing something that shows the program the disc is in there? Right? Right? Anyone?

Some cd-writer not support subchannel analysis, therefore CloneCD works so, IMHO.

Thanks I'll have to check that out. But it only happens on CERTAIN games and they appear to be NEWER games, that being games within the last year or two? Anyone else having this problem?
Do you think a no CD crack will work , if so where can I find one for House Party and Hot Date? Not this site, they seem to have gotten stricter to what they postsince last time I was here.

Newer games are heavily protected against piracy...then don't think cloneCD is the perfect solution for backup then.For the games you said....there is a name.....safedisk v2 and soon we will heard about TAGÈS. Backup world is getting more and more difficult every day it passed. Try to find a crack for ur games..if cloneCD doesn't runs and cracks available..it will work...by now the unique way to backup a 100 % working game.
