Diablo II - I've worked on this for several days... help, please

I'm using CloneCD and I have set all the settings correctly
Reading:
speed 1X
Read Sub channel Data and Audio
Fast error Skip - retry = 10 (5 didn't work)
error coreection - none
It read ok, and then I started to writwe to the cd and got an error right away. I cannot tell you the error, because I cannot find the error log. grrr

My CDRW is a Micro Solutions Backpack external, hooked up by USB to my Ibm thinkpad.

I'm trying to backup my original cd of the Diablo II expansion cd.

Anyhow, I've checked the forum and other sites and can't seem to get beyond this point.

Anyone there help?

It is highly doubtful that your writer is supported correctly by CloneCD, certainly they have no compatibility listing for it.
