AvP2 - Aliens versus Predator 2 - CD copy ...

well .. ok .. i instaled the game from the original CD and then made a backup of it ...
windows CANT READ the backup CD .. well it not cant install from it, it just says that the disc is damaged or something like that ...
anyone knows how to copy the CD ??

PS: the game runs fine with the nocd from gamecopyworld .. even under winXP (ive used the fixed exe AND the nocd-crack)

i made a back up disk using clone cd works great with the no cd-crack

Can you please tell me where you got a working NO_CD crack I tried two , but they not working , or maybe Im doing something wrong !

I have had the same problem with the no-cd crack. I can't get either one to work. Are they bogus or what's the deal?

hey i have the same problem...anyone know what is up with the AVP2 no cd crack?? i run it and it says something like this....


finding avp2.exe.................ok
performing crc check...........failed

All people with problems with cracks : make sure you use the crack on the correct version of executable. You need an ORIGINAL executable, for the same language and for the same version as the crack. The one Prattine tried to use is a patch, which means it turns the original executable in a crack, but ONLY when it's exactly the executable that the patch expects.

thanks Rincewind........but i tried the patch (its' that 15kb one) on both version 1.0 and now v 1.0.9.* and they both don't work.......i made a decent backup of the originals, avoiding the bastardly anti-pirating stuff they put on the cd........ahhhh i really don't know guys
