Can't install arcanum - Please help

When i launch the installation he post an error msg like this :

Error during differences applications. Verify that the access ways of transformations are ok.

Is that a protection or something else ???

Can anyone help me ?????????

.. sorry, cannot help but at least have the same problem on w2000. can´t find a workaround nowhere ..
