Safedisc 2

I have a very strange problem with Safedisc 2 protected games! And this problem exists only a short time yet!

I can't start games which a protected by safedisc 2! (I tried Commandos 2, Fussball Manager 2002 and NHL 2002; all german versions) After the games have tested if it is an original CD the programs return to the Windows desktop! (I'm using Original CDs!!!)

But this problem only appears when I'm running Windows ME! Using Windows XP RC1 there is no problem, the game starts in a normal way!

Is there somebody who can imagine what's the reason for my problem???

Im Gegensatz zu WinME stellt WinXP sofort den DMA-Modus für deine CD-ROM Laufwerke ein ... Hast du DMA unter WinME aktiviert?
Keine Ahnung ob das hilft - angeblich soll's aber!

(Falls du nicht weißt was DMA ist ... sag Bescheid - ich erklär dir dann wie man's einstellt ...)!
