Copy PS2 DVD`s

How am i able to copy a ps2 dvd with my pioneer dvr103 recorder? a nero 5564 copy is not running in my ps2 with usb-chip module and ar2. normal ps2 cd-r copies are running. do i use the wrong program? or the wrong dvd-r (pionner and verbatim dvd-r/4,7gb/general)? please help!
