Need NO-CD for Paris-Dakar-Rally

The deviance ISO seems to have a small lack of function:

I can't get PD-Rally started,... if i remove the burned cd it asks for it..

with cd it initializes the screen, but rapidly closes the window,
without crashing...

anybody know's a solution?

a fixed EXE exists but i don't know where we can find it, 09/02/2001 Paris Dakar Rally NoCD Patch has been released by this group called Battery. someone know them or something?
